Who is at the market? Local farmers, specialty food producers and crafters will sell their fresh produce, meats, seafood, baked goods, cheeses, homemade goodies and so much more!
This market takes place rain or shine!
For everyone’s safety & comfort, the market is a smoke-free and pet-free space. ADA Trained Service Dogs are allowed – A service dog is defined by the ADA as dogs that are individually trained to work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

July 6th - Seacoast Revival Jazz Combo
The Seacoast Revival Jazz Combo is part of the Just Right Brass family of bands. The Jazz Combo features Riv Rivers, Bruce Jarvis, Tom Peiffer, Will Cicola and Karen McCarthy playing all your favorite Jazz standards. Formed in 2020 when large ensembles were forced to disband, Just Right Brass’ mission was to "Bring the Joy of Live Music” to people during those dark days. Four years later we’re, still bringing the joy and very happy to be back at the York Gateway Farmers’ Market.
July 13th - Freddie Dame Jr.
Freddy Dame Jr. has been a musician for over 30 years and comes from a musical family. Born and raised in York, Freddy is a York High School grad class of 1985. Freddy got his love for music from his father, Freddy Dame Sr., who had musical success in the early 60's when he was signed to The Reprise label. Freddy loves to perform music from the 50's to the 90's and has a passion to play those songs that will bring back memories for his audience. With his extensive song list, he is sure to play something for everyone.
July 20th - Cedar Mountain Bluegrass Band
Cedar Mountain Bluegrass is a traditional, contemporary bluegrass band with tight harmonies and excellent instrumental performing. Their genres include bluegrass, Americana and modern tunes; along with original songs The performances are a delight to young and old alike, striving to engage the audience with fun and humor.
July 27th - Southern NH Ukulele Group (SNHUG)
Southern NH Ukulele Group (SNHUG) was founded in 2012. SNHUG is open to players of all levels, free of charge. We meet every other Friday and play at community events, fairs, veterans and nursing homes and hospitals. Longtime supporters of the UKC, SNHUG has raised over $100,000, most of it for the UKC, bringing smiles to hospitalized children and their families, right here on the seacoast and nationwide. We can play happy ukulele music every day, all day!
August 3rd - Desperate Strings
The Desperate Strings is an acoustic project. We play covers from many different genres and years, adapted to our four instruments: cello, mandolin, ukulele and cajon. We play unconventional instruments in a very unconventional set up! We all sing and we love to harmonize on our songs. We live and play music around the New Hampshire seacoast. We love busking, playing at farmers markets and playing in pubs and restaurants. Bottom line: we love music and we can't wait to play for you!
August 10th - Prairie Music
Folk music got its hooks into Keith early on playing guitar and singing in high-school. For decades his fans have enjoyed his rich voice and mastery of the hammered dulcimer and guitar. He has a wide-ranging repertoire, from instrumental folk tunes, classical, to silly covers and his own compositions.
Hear songs that have a story and can bring a tear or a laugh. Tunes that lead feet to tap and dance or souls to move to meditation. Bring your heart, your spirit, and your funny bone.

August 24th - Eleanor Ivy Band
Eleanor Ivy is a Southern Maine based band of four fun females playing fiddle, folk and bluegrass music with the goal of bringing all ages together with happy music. The group blends the old and the new, encourages sing alongs and looks forward to seeing everyone move to the music.
August 31st - Just Right Brass Presents the Seacoast Revival Early Jazz Band
The Just Right Brass family of bands was formed in 2020 when large ensembles were forced to disband. Starting out as a three piece band, the Seacoast Revival Early Jazz Band has expanded to a full trad jazz ensemble and will be featured at the 2024 Medford Trad Jazz Festival on Aug 27th. Playing toe tapping music of the 20’s and 30’s and bringing the joy of live music, The Seacoast Revival Early Jazz Band is excited to be back at the York Gateway Farmers’ Market.
