About Us
Who We Are
The York Region Chamber of Commerce is run by a small staff of 4: one full-time employee and three part-time staffers. Holly Roberts serves as Executive Director, managing day-to-day operations, overseeing all financial aspects and implementing the Chamber’s goals and mission; Linda Chisholm serves as Business Manager, coordinating community and Chamber events, manages the annual guidebook and menu guide content and our member database; Carol West serves as our Farmers’ Market Manager and helps with front desk and assisting visitors; Susan Littley serves as Administrative Staff, manning the front desk, maintaining brochures at kiosks and taking care of the gift shop.
Our staff and organization is overseen by a Board of Directors. We are an independent, not-for-profit membership organization. We are not employed by or financially funded by the State of Maine or the towns that we cover. The Municipalities of York, Kittery, Eliot and South Berwick pay an annual, nonprofit membership fee in support of our representation of the communities. Our mission is to promote the growth and general prosperity of Southern Maine. We represent and assist our member businesses on an individual level in order to benefit the region as a whole.
