Shredding Bins 1

The Chamber will have secure shredding bins available for the public to use beginning Saturday, January 10, 2015 – Friday April 3, 2015. The proceeds from the fee the chamber will pay for removal is 100% donated to Waban Projects located in Sanford, Maine.

Local residents and business owners can dispose of their confidential documents anytime during our normal business hours. We are open Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 4:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am – 2:00pm. In the case of inclement weather, please call ahead to be sure we are open.

This is a free service for chamber members; however, donations are welcomed. Limit one bin per visit.

General Public:
$5.oo per visit – filling half bin or less
$8.00 per visit – for anything over half a bin, limit 1 full bin per visit.

Each container is a 64 gallon bin

FMI: Call 207-363-4422.

We strongly encourage you to call ahead because the bins have been filling up quickly. In that case, we can let you know when they will be empty and available again.

The bins arrive locked and they are always locked. Users must feed their documents into a slot at the top. Documents are NOT shredded here at the Chamber. The locked bins are removed and brought to the industrial shredder at Secure Records Management Systems. If you have questions about shredding, call the Chamber – 207.363.4422

Local farmers, specialty food producers and crafters will sell their fresh produce, meats, seafood, baked goods, cheeses, homemade goodies and so much more!

Visit the market’s website by clicking here

This market takes place rain or shine!

For everyone’s safety & comfort, the market is a smoke-free and pet-free space (except for service animals).

No soliciting or surveying by any political, religious or other special cause groups or individuals is permitted at the market.

We’re collecting food donations for the York Food Pantry on Saturdays! The food pantry is able to accept perishable items from our market, which means you can donate produce! For example, come to the market, buy two heads of lettuce, keep one and donate the other – it’s that easy! You’ll find a table & box set up at the market for you to leave items. Food pantry representatives will be by to collect everything at the end of the market.
